Amazon Australia launches Automative Part Finder tool
It matches over 100,000 vehicle-specific products for the most popular cars.
Amazon Australia has launched a feature that will help customers find parts and accessories for their cars.
In a statement, Amazon Australia said, the Automative Part Finder tool matches over 100,000 vehicle-specific products ranging from windscreen wiper blades, light bulbs, and brake pads, to filter to a number of the most popular cars in the country in the past decade.
Customers can shop for automotive products from brands including Bosch, Autoglym, Mothers, Bendix, and Ryco, because of selling partners such as 4WD Supacentre, Rolan Australia, Auto One, and Online Auto Parts.
“Australians love taking to the open road and exploring the great outdoors. With the announcement of Automotive Part Finder on Amazon.com.au, we’re excited to make it even more convenient for our customers to find the right parts and accessories easily for their vehicles,” said Ian Bradley, head of Automotive at Amazon Australia.
“Not only can customers shop products for their car more easily, but they can conveniently purchase any other items they may need before heading off on a road trip,” he added.
Research commissioned by the company found that 43% of Australians plan on travelling somewhere in the country this winter, 31% of which are planning on a road trip and 12% planning to fly domestically.
The research also found that whilst 83% of the Australians love going on road trips, 39% said that they feel stressed about the preparation needed.
Amazon Australia said customers can enter their vehicle’s brand, model, year, series and engine type to browse products fit for their car.
The feature will benefit 21% of Australians that were held back from doing their own basic maintenance because they do not know the parts suitable for their car and 15% that do not know where to look for parts, it said.
