Amazon rolls out learning portal for Singaporean SMBs

Its interactive eLearning content offers live practice opportunities.

Amazon launched an online education portal for small and medium businesses (SMBs) in Singapore at its first Amazon Singapore Online Seller Summit 2020, according to a press release.

Called Seller University, its interactive eLearning content allows sellers on Amazon.sg to access live practice opportunities and personalised support to better operate on its store. The portal offers sellers a series of content, such as complimentary training videos and online tools.

Some lessons include creating effective product listings faster, mastering the key tools and applications for selling online, making use of Amazon’s tools, advertising and promotions. The Seller Central feature is also part of this offering, which will provide sellers with personalised recommendations on programs and features.

The inaugural virtual Seller Summit drew 1,300 participants and saw industry leaders from Amazon, Enterprise Singapore, and OCBC Bank discuss retail trends, growth opportunities, and offer insights on how SMBs can expand their businesses.
