AnyMind Group, Gizmodo Japan launch e-commerce store Giz Yatai

Giz Yatai will specialise in selling gadgets.

The end-to-end commerce enablement platform, AnyMind Group, has teamed up with tech media Gizmodo Japan to launch Giz Yatai, an e-commerce store specializing in gadgets.

The concept of Giz Yatai is an online store with a wide variety of gadgets from around the world. Items are curated by Gizmodo Japan’s editorial team, including exotic gadgets, never-before-seen bargains, and more.

Giz Yatai aims to be the next generation of “media commerce” by combining software and solutions developed by AnyMind Group for e-commerce and direct-to-consumer growth, and product sourcing from manufacturers across Asia. Additionally, Gizmodo Japan will tap on AnyMind Group’s offerings for e-commerce enablement, marketing, logistics, and more.

In the near future, Giz Yatai will also leverage a consumer-to-manufacturer model, which is a made-to-order production model, where a manufacturer takes orders directly from consumers and creates products without having to hold inventory.
