India-based Zomato ends Philippine operations

The company said it will still continue operating in India and the United Arab Emirates.

India-based restaurant aggregator and food delivery company Zomato has officially stopped operations in the Philippines, the company announced on its website.

The company did not disclose the reasons for its closure.

Zomato said it will still continue its operations in India and the United Arab Emirates.

Zomato first entered the Philippines in 2015 in partnership with local delivery and takeout service company Quick Delivery. This was the first Southeast Asian country that the food delivery business entered.
