The shopping festival will be held on 18 June.
JD Retail pledged to reduce operating burdens for its merchants to boost their return of investment by at least 20% during a shopping festival on 18 June, with emphasis on supportive measures for small businesses, its CEO Lijun Xin said in a press release.
In a merchants' meeting, Xin said the thirty supportive measures will be provided for merchants for the company’s 618 Grand Promotion based on “Three Reductions” in terms of operating cost, performance tests, and risks, and “Three Optimizations” for operating rules, efficiency and services.
The company plans to unveil the new version of its App, v11.0 ahead of the 618 Grand Promotion to bring simpler, more transparent, and consistent operating experiences for its merchants.
Traffic generating policies will also be upgraded, covering the areas of searching, marketing, recommendation, and advertising, in which small and medium-sized stores and products with special features have greater exposure, the company said.
JD also developed a simplified operating system catered to new merchants who are considered small and medium enterprises to facilitate their onboarding process.
