JD.com inks deal with UK’s Evri for growth of European brands in China

The partnership will allow British and European products to over 600 million users in China.

JD.com has partnered with UK-based parcel delivery company Evri for the expanded support and growth of prominent British and European brands in the Chinese market.

In a statement, JD.com said the partnership is expected to assist European businesses in selling products catering to 600 million active users in JD.com’s marketplace.

It will also combine the e-commerce proficiencies in China and the delivery network of Evri all over Europe, providing seamless access to JD.com users.

The China-based e-commerce company will also upgrade its pickup service for European and UK brands/businesses with features like local pick-up, warehousing, transportation, access to Chinese bonded warehouses, customs clearance, and comprehensive delivery across China, as well as consumer strategies within the market.

The partnership will concentrate on beauty and apparel items, where JD.com has extensive insights into examining the shopping behaviour of customers.
