JD.com rolls out authentication services for imports

JD Smart Check will enable a seamless and secure inspection process for products.

JD.com, through its cross-border e-commerce channel JD Worldwide, has released its in-house enhanced authentication processes called “JD Smart Check” for all imported products.

In a statement, JD.com said JD Smart Check serves to safeguard inspections for cosmetic products, integrate blockchain applications for anti-counterfeiting measures, and offer authenticity inspects for shipments via direct mail.

Alongside the JD Smart Check, JD Worldwide has included other security measures like an X-ray fluorescence analysis for rapid inspection of cosmetics and health products.
