Meituan launches food delivery brand KeeTa in Hong Kong

It is initially launched in Mong Kok and Tai Kok Tsui,

China-based retail company Meituan rolled out the food delivery brand KeeTa in Hong Kong initially launched in Mong Kok and Tai Kok Tsui.

In a statement, Meituan said KeeTa merchants include McDonald’s, Maxim’s, KFC, Yoshinoya, and Pacific Coffee amongst others.

Aside from giving a HK$300 coupon package to newly-registered users, KeeTa also has a Meal for One programme which offers “value-for-money” set menus of meals for as little as HK$6, including delivery fee.

The platform also has a free-of-charge “On-time Promise” policy, an industry-first in Hong Kong. This includes a tiered compensation plan for late orders and vouchers for future purchases for orders delivered more than 15 minutes beyond the original delivery estimate.

KeeTa also offers couriers multiple rewards programmes, including incentives for on-time deliveries.

MeiTuan targets to expand to the entire Hong Kong market by the end of 2023.
