Pandamart Hong Kong posts 53% YoY increase in turnover
Sai Ying Pun led the order chart with a 144% YoY surge.
pandamart, the grocery delivery feature of foodpanda, recorded a 53% year-on-year (YoY) increase in turnover over the last year, showing strong demand for quick commerce amongst Hong Kong consumers.
In a statement, foodpanda said Sai Ying Pun pandamart is the most popular pandmart amongst all Hong Kong districts, posting the highest order values increasing by around 144% YoY.
Operating for two years, there are currently 20 pandamarts servicing 17 out of 18 districts in Hong Kong. There are at least 350 pandamarts across foodpanda’s 11 markets in the Asia Pacific.

pandamart Hong Kong works with 1,300 international and local brands, and offering nearly 10,000 products, including fresh produce, frozen and chilled food, snacks, beverages and other household goods.
Foodpanda said the most ordered product category from January to June 2022 is beverages, followed by fresh produce, and snacks and crisps.
Customers are looking for fresher ingredients and groceries more, with the demand for fresh ingredients in the second quarter of 2022 increasing by 119% YoY. The number of orders for local organic ingredients and fresh vegetables grew 370% and 73% YoY, respectively.
pandamart also expanded its offering of chilled wines and desserts on the platform to cater to seasonal demands.
foodpanda said orders for spirits and wine rose by 64%, whilst orders for ice cream and desserts increased by 100%.
