Shopee ends Poland operations

Orders placed before 13 January 12 a.m., will still be processed.

Singapore-based e-commerce platform Shopee closed its operations in Poland at end-Friday, 13 January.

In a statement on its website, Shopee Polska, which entered the market in the autumn of 2021 said orders placed before January 13, 2023, 12 a.m., will be delivered as standard, with support and order processing pushing through for those who have placed their orders on the platform.

This came following the shutdown of the e-commerce giant’s operations in France and India.

Shopee has also laid off employees particularly in ShopeeFood and ShopeePay divisions in Southeast Asia amidst market and economic volatility.
