Siemens to roll out products in JD's offline stores
The industrial company is looking to meet the demands of customers in lower-tier markets.
German-based Siemens is partnering with JD Home Appliance stores to bring appliances and lifestyle products to its customers, according to a press release.
With Siemens, JD is now offering a wider variety of products in offline stores and ramping up the proportion of high-end products, which can better meet the demands of customers in lower-tier markets, the markets that JD Home Appliance stores originally focus on. JD said.
Siemens is also expanding in lower-tier markets and will bring its products to more customers through more than 15,000 JD Home Appliance stores around China. Meanwhile, JD is looking to introduce more international and high-end products in the future.
“This year, in addition to focusing on lower-tier markets, we are also going to open bigger JD Home Appliance stores in first and second tier cities, and upgrade the stores in terms of products, services and digitalization abilities,” said JD Home Appliances stores’ general manager Jun Liu.
