Swiggy acquires retail distribution firm LYNK

This signifies Swiggy’s entry into the country’s food and grocery retail market.

India-based food delivery platform Swiggy entered a definitive agreement for the acquisition of retail distribution company LYNK Logistics, markings its foray into the country’s food and grocery retail market.
In a statement, Swiggy said LYNK is an authorised distributor of leading fast-moving consumer goods brands, offering a faster order-to-delivery turnaround.

Through the acquisition, LYNK will rely on Swiggy’s expertise in technology and logistics to scale its current platform.
