China to probe Calvin Klein owner over suspected Xinjiang cotton boycott
The ministry said that the firm is "unjustly boycotting" Xinjiang products "without a factual basis."
China's commerce ministry said it will investigate PVH, the parent company of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger, for alleged violations of market trading rules related to Xinjiang products, Reuters reported.
The ministry said that PVH has 30 days to submit evidence of any "discriminatory measures" taken against Xinjiang products in the past three years.
In a separate statement, it also accused PVH of "unjustly boycotting" Xinjiang cotton and other products "without a factual basis."
