Christian Louboutin joins forces with India’s ABFRL

The partnership will help Louboutin’s expansion into the Indian market.

Iconic shoe brand Christian Louboutin has partnered with India-based fashion company Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) to form a new subsidiary.

Through the partnership, both entities will hold an equal stake and responsibility in cooperative efforts on the shoe brand’s expansion into the Indian market.

“This partnership reflects our commitment to offering our discerning customers the very best in elegance and style. It also exemplifies our ambition to develop and shape the future of the luxury market in India,” Ashish Dikshit, managing director of Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited, stated.

Founded in 1991, Christian Louboutin has garnered a revered presence in the retail sector, becoming one of the leading names in global luxury. It is mostly known for its signature red sole shoes, as well as a diverse line of men’s footwear, leather goods and accessories, beauty, and kids items.
