Longchamp opens flagship store on JD.com

This brings the number of luxury brands on JD to over 300. 

French brand Longchamp will open its flagship store on JD.com on 2 July 2022. 

This brings the number of luxury brands on the platform to more than 300 across categories, such as bags, apparel, footwear, jewellery, and watches amongst others.

JD.com noted the cooperation with Longchamp used a vendor-managed inventory model, which is ab initiative of JD Luxury. 

It allows the brand to run the store with independent operation, whilst enjoying the warehousing and logistics services of JD Logistics. 

“JD Luxury will be devoted to expanding the matrix of big brands in the future and bringing consumers a more diversified and unique quality of life,” JD also said.

Established in 1948, Longchamp largely offers women’s handbags. Its iconic Le Pliage nylon bag with Russian Leather flap and shoulder handles, Le Pliage Cuir leather bag and the latest autumn/winter collection will be available on the platform.
