Alexander Pollich named CEO of Porsche China

He will now oversee Porsche's crucial Chinese market.

Alexander Pollich is set to assume the role of President and CEO of Porsche China, Hong Kong, and Macao, effective 1 September 2024.

His main tasks will be driving growth in the Chinese market, improving collaboration with local dealers, and optimising internal processes.

Pollich, with over 23 years at Porsche, has been Chairman of the Executive Board of Porsche Deutschland GmbH since 2018. He has also led Porsche operations in Canada and the UK and has a background in business administration and economics. 

Michael Kirsch, the current CEO, will move to a new role within the Porsche Group, with details to be announced later.

Karsten Sohns, CFO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH, and Thomas Illner, COO of Porsche Deutschland GmbH, will manage the German market until the appointment of Pollich’s successor.
