American F&B chain Yogurtland exits Australia

The company was partly affected by a ban on self-serve model.

American frozen yogurt chain Yogurtland is closing all of its locations in Australia on 28 March after eight years of operations, the company announced in a social media post.

"The ongoing ban on our self-serve model and economic impact of COVID-19 have taken their toll and despite our best efforts, we are unable to move forward," the company said in a statement.

The company offers frozen yogurt ranging from sweet, tart, dairy-free to no sugar added flavours, as well as a DIY topping bar.
