Fave Group acquires Groupon Singapore

Groupon Singapore, a popular website for online deals, has been rebranded as Fave today.

Fave will inherit Groupon’s customers and serve over two million subscribers in Singapore.

The local Fave eco-system now includes more than 2,500 outlets, offering a seamless mobile-first experience for consumers to find and purchase from local businesses such as restaurants, cafes, salons, spas and gyms. Fave’s current partners include Swensen’s, Famous Amos, Yoshinoya, Jumbo Seafood, Pink Parlour and Essensuals by Toni&Guy.

"Our top priority is to enable local businesses to drive a fruitful retail strategy in spite of the current challenging retail environment. To this end, we have tailored the Fave platform to the specific needs of Singapore merchants with the aim of helping them succeed through acquiring, retaining and retargeting customers,” said Ng Aik-Phong, managing director of Fave Singapore.

Ng added Fave brings the convenience of mobile commerce and the value of exclusive deals and savings to the neighbourhood shopping experience.

Over the past six months, Fave has also integrated Groupon Malaysia and Groupon Indonesia.
