Huge shop for Japan preloved items opens in Malaysia

Biok Marketing, a subsidiary of Booko of Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan, is opening its first ‘Loved in Japan’ (or ‘preloved in Japan’) shop, ‘Jalan Jalan Japan’, this month in  Subang Jaya in Selangor, Malaysia.

Bookoff is one of the largest second-hand chains in Japan.

Jalan Jalan, which means ‘going for a stroll’ in Malay, will oer a wide range of products including apparel (clothes, bags and shoes), miscellaneous household goods, baby goods, toys, hobby and sporting goods, instruments, ornaments, furniture and books — all preloved in Japan.

With a sales oor area of about 23,000sqf, the new store aims to be the largest second-hand shop in South-east Asia managed by a Japanese company.
