Pandora supports Australian women in need through new e-commerce initiative
Pandora Jewelry recently announced a new charitable initiative, enabling online customers to make donations to selected Australian charities with every purchase.
On behalf of all customers who purchase from the Australian Pandora online store (estore-au.pandora.net), the company will make a $1 (US$0.80) donation to one of three Australian-based charitable projects themed around women’s health, empowerment and equality.
“Pandora is passionate about supporting causes which improve the lives of women and children in Australia and around the world. We’re proud to expand our commitment and make a positive impact with this initiative," said Mikael Kruse Jensen, managing director, Pandora Jewelry, Australia & New Zealand.
After checkout at Pandora’s online store, customers are invited to choose which of the three projects (Look Good Feel Better, Dress for Success and Women’s Community Shelters) they wish to support, with the option to make an additional donation of their own. If a customer does not specify a chosen charity, Pandora will still make a $1 donation to one of the charities, selected at random.
“As a brand loved by millions of women, we are committed to supporting women’s health, empowerment and equality. We are humbled to partner with our customers to support the important work that is being done by these charities,” said Mhairi Holway, VP of HR, Pandora Australia and New Zealand.
Hosted by i=Change, a cause marketing portal for e-commerce supporting social empowerment, the platform allows customers to see their donation in real-time and to track how much Pandora has raised, with 100% of the donations going to the charities.
