7-Eleven to open first Cambodia store in 2021

It signed a master franchisee agreement with CP ALL, which operates 7-Eleven in Thailand.

7-Eleven will open its first store in Cambodia in 2021 following a master franchise agreement with Thailand-based CP ALL to develop and operate the stores in the country, according to a press release. This is expected to open in Phnom Penh.

In 1988, CP ALL was established to operate 7-Eleven stores in Thailand under an exclusive licensing agreement. The first Thailand 7-Eleven store opened in Bangkok in 1989, and CP ALL now operates close to 12,000 stores in the country.

Cambodia will be the 19th country where 7-Eleven stores operate or will operate soon.
