Aumake and Miniso to launch dual-brand stores in Australia

These stores will sell a variety of household goods and beauty products.

Australian retailer Aumake has entered a distribution agreement with Japanese-style lifestyle product retailer Miniso to launch dual-brand stores in Sydney, New South Wales, the company revealed in a bourse filing.

Miniso will provide operational support and products to initially three of Aumake’s physical stores in Chinatown, World Square central business district (CBD) and Burwood. These stores will sell a variety of household goods and cosmetics/skincare products.

Miniso will pay Aumake a percentage of sales in exchange for using Aumake’s premises to sell the products, the Australian retailer said.

Aumake operates a scalable business model that utilises physical stores, through a combination  of self-operated stores and a network of third-party stores, and a social e-commerce online platform promoting new brands and products to Asian markets.
