Australia’s RFG names new CEO

Matthew Marshall’s appointment will take effect on 1 July.

Queensland-headquartered Retail Food Group (RFG) has promoted Head of Retail Matthew Marshall as the Chief Executive Officer effective on 1 July.

In a disclosure, RFG said Marshall is tasked to “drive the realisation of growth opportunities and sustainable value creation for the Company’s stakeholders.”

RGL cited Marshall’s knowledge about the Company’s business and the vital role he played in implementing the company’s franchisee-first and customer-centric values and strategy.

Meanwhile, its CEO Peter George will remain as the executive chairman for two more years where he will prioritise specific strategic growth projects and mentor Marshall.
