Central Pattana to expand Central Park brand with $552.7m mixed-use development

The Dusit Central Park is projected to open in 2025.

Thailand property development leader Central Pattana is set to invest an additional $552.7m (THB20b) for their Dusit Central Park project expansion.

The plans involve the construction of a shopping centre with a gross building area of 130,000 sq.m. and Central Park Offices spanning 130,000 sq.m. The shopping centre is projected to open in Q3 2023, while office buildings will be available by Q2 2025.

Dusit Central Park holds a value of $1.27b (THB46b). In addition to the shopping centre and offices, it will also set up hotels and residential areas. Anticipated as a fully integrated High-End Lifestyle Hub, the very first in Thailand, the project will bring curated experiences to the emerging upscale market.

Wallaya Chirathivat, President and CEO of Central Pattana plc, said the collaboration between Central Pattana and Dusit brings “Thailand’s ‘Hospitality Meets Retail’ experience on a global stage”.

“In developing the Central Park shopping centre, Central Pattana aims to create new horizons for Bangkok, similar to New York’s Central Park and London’s Hyde Park,” she added.
