Vietnam has also experienced growth of 6.3% in the retail sector.

Central Retail Vietnam, a subsidiary of Thailand-based conglomerate Central Retail, has posted a 10% growth from strong sales during the Vietnamese New Year Festival (Tet).

This is an increase from last year, prompting Central Retail Vietnam to expand its business and open more outlets.

The growth of sales represents the overall performance within the Vietnamese market, wherein a 6.3% progress is projected, thanks to the expansion of the export sector and investment from both public and private sectors, especially from trading partners China and the United States.
