DIYblinds names new CEO

The co-founders will serve as chief growth officer and director of the company.

Australia-based DIYblinds appointed Peter Mitchley-Hughes as its new chief executive officer.

In a statement, DIYblings said co-founders Evan Montero and Liam Dobson will take the roles of chief growth officer and director, respectively.

Before joining DIYblinds, Mitchley-Hughes held various positions, leading the digital and data revolution and building the e-commerce solution at Bunnings.

He also headed B2B Trade, providing him with insights on tradespeople and builders’ requirements, a key customer demographic for DIYlinds HomePro division.

“This is a great opportunity to build on the vision of Evan and Liam. The growth they achieved provides an amazing platform to explore new markets and expand our internal capabilities so we can fully realise the potential within this dynamic business,” Mithcley-Hughes said on his appointment.
