L’Oréal invests in micro-printing startup

The company developed the L’Oreal Brow Magic with Prinker Korea.

L’Oréal made a minority investment in micro-printing startup, Prinker Korea, through its corporate venture fund BOLD Business Opportunities for L’Oreal Development.

In a statement, L’Oréal said it has partnered with Prinker for several years to develop L’Oreal Brow Magic, the first handheld, electronic brow make-up applicator.

The tool uses augmented reality technology and patented artificial intelligence algorithms to scan a user’s face to recommend a brow shape and print them automatically.
