Lotte wins bid to operate in Australia's Melbourne Airport
Lotte Duty Free will open a duty-free store in the airport on 1 June.
Lotte Duty Free has won a concession to operate a duty-free store at Australia's Melbourne Airport as the company prepares for a boom in international travel amidst a global reopening, Yonhap reported, quoting company officials.
Hotel Lotte’s travel retailer said it will open the 3,592 sqm duty-free store on June 1 and will operate it until May 2033.

Lotte Duty Free said it plans to expand the size of the duty-free store at Melbourne Airport to 5,800 sqm and aims for an annual sales target of $243.6m (KRW300b).
Hotel Lotte operates 13 overseas duty-free stores in six countries, including the inner city store in Sydney of Australia and its downtown store in Da Nang City, Vietnam.
