Malaysian retailer KK Super Mart to expand in Uzbekistan

KK Group of Companies has supervised over 800 shopping centres in Malaysia.

Malaysia-based supermarket chain KK Super Mart has sought interest in expanding into the Republic of Uzbekistan.

This is in line with the memorandum of understanding signed between Malaysia and Uzbekistan under which both nations aim to promote trade and investments between the two markets, especially for the entry of Malaysia-based businesses into the Uzbek market. One of the businesses cited is KK Super Mart.

KK Super Mart has planned to establish a trading house for Uzbek products with an area of 200 square metres as part of its plant to enter the central Asian country.

Currently, the KK Group of Companies has overseen over 800 shopping centres across Malaysia, with its homegrown brands encompassing food, retail, e-commerce, hotel management, and construction.
