MINISO unveils first Malaysian IP collection store

It already surpassed sales records in the country for two consecutive days post-opening.

Lifestyle retailer MINISO debuted its first Malaysian IP collection store at Berjaya Times Square Mall on 30 March. 

The store, featuring a vibrant pink theme inspired by MINISO's Barbie collaboration, surpassed sales records in Malaysia for two consecutive days post-opening.

Spanning 200 square metres and stocking over 3,000 stock-keeping units, the store offers a wide range of products including the Barbie Ballet Eau de Parfum collection, alongside popular IP collaborations like Disney, Care Bears, and Pokémon, as well as MINISO originals across various categories.

The store's Barbie-inspired design includes pink palm trees, mirrors, and a dedicated fragrance area. 

The opening day also featured a MINISO Fashion Week with models distributing flyers and gifts, a Barbie-themed pop-up, and appearances by influencers.
