Nitori expands to South Korea

It has partnered with local supermarket chain Emart to open its first South Korean outlet.

Nitori Holdings, Inc. has expanded into the South Korean market with its first store.

Located in the Seongbuk-gu district of Seoul, the store will operate under the brand name “Nitori”, in collaboration with major supermarket chain Emart.

Nitori will supplement the booming Korean retail market with its own vision of quality household products and personal items.

Nitori’s business model is centred on the prioritisation of low-priced, high-quality products, with direct attention from product planning to manufacturing to logistics and sales.

After South Korea, Nitori is looking to expand its business overseas, including markets in Southeast Asia. Currently, it is operating more than 900 stores worldwide.
