Robinsons Retail posts 26.7% income growth in 2022

Its net income stood at P5.73b.

Robinsons Retail reported its net income grew by 26.7% to P5.73b in 2022, the company reported. 

Over the same period, the company recorded a 16.6% growth in net sales to P178.82b. Its net core earnings also increased by 39.1% to P5.28b.

Robinsons Retail linked this to the more positive contributions from all business segments coming from category mix improvements and operating efficiencies. 

“We are pleased with our operating performance in 2022. Building on the momentum last year, our company will continue to take advantage of the economy’s return to normal,” Robina Gokongwei Pe, President and CEO of Robinsons Retail Holdings, Inc., said.

“We will focus on improving store efficiency and increasing market coverage with more stores in the pipeline for 2023.”
