S&R partners with UnionBank for exclusive credit card co-branding

Applicants can enjoy rebates, free pizzas and vouchers with the UnionBank S&R credit card.

Philippine-based membership-only retailer S&R has signed a partnership with Union Bank of the Philippines (UnionBank) for a co-branded credit card, exclusive to S&R members.

Applicants for the new UnionBank S&R credit card can enjoy benefits, like 3% unlimited rebates from any S&R store, 1% unlimited rebates or less in any dining and shopping spends, no annual credit card fees, a free 18” whole cheese pizza for every US$538 (P30,000) spent, and a US$27 (P1,500) voucher.

New applicants can also avail of a special launch offer with free one whole 18” S&R classic pizza, available in any S&R outlet.

“This card is for customers who look to gain more value not only out of their membership and spends in S&R but also on purchases outside S&R,” Manoj Varma, Consumer Banking Head of UnionBank, stated.

Shoppers may apply in-store and online, requiring only an active S&R membership and one valid government-issued ID.
