Starbucks opens new store in Malaysia

The new store marks the Starbucks’ presence in all states and federal territories in Malaysia.

Starbucks Malaysia opened a new store in Perlis, which marks the completion of the company’s presence across all states and federal territories in the country.

The new Starbucks branch is designed in line with the company’s 50-year coffee heritage, whilst also embracing Malaysia’s distinctive local traditions and culture.

The store features floor-to-ceiling glass windows as well as a drive-thru lane. Customers may also sign up for Starbucks’ loyalty and rewards program for exclusive benefits.

“This store marks a key milestone for the company and represents a great opportunity to deliver the exceptional coffee experience that so many Malaysians have come to love,” Dato’ Sydney Quays, Group CEO of Berjaya Food Berhad and managing director of Starbucks Malaysia & Brunei, said.

Moreover, Starbucks noted that its expansion will come with opportunities for employment communities in the area.

The company will also offer skill training and development programs for its partners.
