It currently has 465 stores in the country.

Starbucks is planning to increase its stores in Thailand to 800 by 2030, including eight Community stores, the company said in a statement.

Starbucks, which celebrates 25 years in Thailand, currently has 465 stores in the Southeast Asian country.

It transformed its ICONSIAM flagship store into a Community Store to have a “meaningful impact on local communities” by adopting a profit-sharing business model where around 30 cents from every coffee beverage sold will be shared between the non-profit organisations Integrated Tribal Development Foundation and Scholars of Sustenance.

The new Community Store will support the company’s target to open 1,000 Community Stores by 2030.
