Thom Browne to operate Korean business directly

A new company, Thom Browne Korea, will be formed.

American fashion brand Thom Browne will be directly operating its business in Korea through the newly-formed and wholly-owned firm, Thom Browne Korea.

In a statement, Zegna Group, owner of Thom Browne said this came following an agreement with Samsum C&T Corporation which has been its partner for 12 years.

“Thom Browne Korea will assume direct responsibility for all activities within the Korean market, with external support from Samsung,” it said.

Zegna said Samsung and Thom Browne will still collaborate through an innovative retail management agreement that will be effective on 1 July 2023. Through this, Samsung will manage Thom Browne’s 17 stores in Korea.
