Tim Hortons to launch in South Korea
It signed a master franchisee agreement with South Korean QSR chain BKR Co. Ltd.
Canadian coffee brand Tim Hortons will be launching in South Korea this year following a master franchisee deal with BKR Co. Ltd. one of the largest quick service restaurant chains in the Asian country.
In a statement, David Shear, president–internation of Tim Hortons’ parent company Restaurant Brands International, said South Korea is one of the “largest and fastest growing coffee markets.”

“We are excited about meeting our South Korean guests and introducing them to the premium quality coffee and delicious foods that Tims fans around the world know and love," Shear said.
Tim Hortons has around 5,600 restaurants in 15 countries including the US, Mexico, Spain, the UK, in the Middle East, China, India, Thailand and the Philippines.
