Vingroup to sell stake in SDI Company

SDI, Sado Company, and Vincom Retail will no longer be Vingroup subsidiaries after the transaction.

Vietnamese conglomerate Vingroup has approved the sale of up to 100% of its charter capital in SDI Trading Development and Investment Company Limited.

“Pursuant to the Resolution No.03/24, the Board of Directors approved the transfer of up to 100% of the charter capital owned by Vingroup and its subsidiaries in SDI Trading Development and Investment Company Limited,” the group said in a statement.

SDI company holds over 99% of Sado Trading Commercial Joint Stock Company, a major shareholder in Vincom Retail Joint Stock Company. 

The transaction occurs from March through the third quarter of the same year.

“Upon the completion of the transaction, SDI Company, Sado Company, and Vincom Retail will cease to be subsidiaries of Vingroup,” the company said.
