Starbucks to launch Blackpink merchandise in Thailand

Part of the profits will be used as donations to the Thai Red Cross Society.

Starbucks is collaborating with the K-pop girl group Blackpink with a new limited-edition merchandise collection in select stores in Thailand, a press release revealed.

Called Starbucks x Blackpink "Spark in You" collection, the collaboration features hearts on a dreamy starry background, with Blackpink’s signature black and pink contrasting colours and sparkling star prints.

“The stylish collection of drinkware and lifestyle accessories is inspired by the courage and perseverance of youth who follow their heart and pursue their dreams with confidence, and the dynamic designs represent the unique personalities of Blackpink’s members,” Starbucks said.

A portion of the profits from this collection will be used for supporting healthcare workers who are affected by COVID-19 through the Thai Red Cross Society.

The exclusive collection was initially set to launch on 12 July, but was postponed for public health reasons.
