Coca-Cola Singapore installs robotic automation for assembly and packing lines

Coca-Cola Singapore and the Agency for Science, Technology, and Research (A*STAR) have launched a new robotic solution to automate assembly and packing lines in the beverage company's Singapore manufacturing plant.
Developed with A*STAR's Advanced Remanufacturing and Technology Centre (ARTC), the collaborative robot (cobot) solution targets packing lines for powdered ingredients, reducing manual labor and boosting productivity
The robot solution, integrated by ARTC and Kowa Skymech Pte Ltd, features a smart vision detection system and an expandable end-of-arm tool for increased efficiency.
The initiative supports Coca-Cola Singapore's digital transformation strategy, utilizing advanced technologies like AI-based robotics to enhance operational processes.
