JD.com and Lenovo partner to drive AI integration in PC market

It is expected to accelerate the adoption of AI PCs and expand smart device usage in homes.

JD.com and Lenovo have unveiled a strategic partnership focusing on AI marketing, intelligent supply chains, and AI technology integration.

With Lenovo aiming for $17b (RMB120b) in sales across JD’s platforms in three years, the collaboration is expected to accelerate the adoption of AI PCs and expand smart device usage in homes.

During the signing ceremony at JD’s headquarters, Sandy Xu, CEO of JD.com, highlighted the enduring collaboration and predicted a surge in consumer demand and industry innovation. 

Liu Jun, executive vice president and president of Lenovo Group's China Region, also noted JD.com's importance as a strategic partner in Lenovo's AI-focused strategy.

The partnership is built on three main goals, including deepening collaboration on Lenovo's AI products, being pioneers in AI PC adoption via JD’s platform, and cultivating an AI terminal industry ecosystem to enhance consumer experiences.
