Coty renews license partnership deal with adidas

Adidas could leverage the growing well-being and athleisure trend.

Beauty company Coty Inc has renewed its long-term license agreement with adidas.

In a statement, Coty CEO Sue Nabi adidas is “perfectly positioned” to cater to the new well-being and athleisure trends that are growing amongst consumers.

Nabo noted that Coty has elevated the body care equity of the sporting goods brands with products that focus on sports and skin care credibility.

“With the launch of the adidas Active Skin and Mind range, we are positioning adidas as a leading premium body care line with superior ingredients and sustainable packaging,” Nabi said.

“Consumers have responded very positively to the launch, and we look forward to building on this progress with an exciting pipeline of further innovations and lines as we drive growth in new and existing markets in the future,” she added.

Coty is driving the growth of adidas’ Active Skin & Mind Range in China following a successful launch in Europe. The two companies also remain committed to sustainability under the extended partnership deal.
