Foodpanda appoints John Fang as CEO

Jakob Angele left the company as CEO after nine years.

Leading Singapore-based food delivery service Foodpanda appointed John Fang as the new CEO, succeeding Jakob Angele.

Fang joined the company as CEO for Taiwan Country, eventually serving six years in numerous leadership roles, including Chief International Officer for parent company Delivery Hero, covering 11 markets.

Fang’s appointment will become crucial for the expansion of Foodpanda’s business and performance.

“In his new role as CEO, John will continue to lead and grow Foodpanda’s business, staying focused to bring value and purpose to the food and grocery delivery ecosystem that Foodpanda serves,” the company said in a statement.

Jakob Angele resigned from the post after nine years as CEO of the company.
