Watsons expands products under the Sustainable Choices scheme
There are now 8,000 products offered under the scheme.
Watsons increased the products under the Sustainable Choices scheme to reach 8,000 and committed to offsetting more than 2,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions as part of its sustainability commitment.
In a statement, Watsons said the Sustainable Choice scheme aims to encourage behavioural change amongst consumers to shift towards a sustainable lifestyle.
Products under the scheme which range from skincare to shampoo need to meet specific criteria such as better ingredients or materials, better packaging, refill packs, and reusable or replaceable components for less waste.
