Fast Retailing backs new Pakistan Accord 

The Accord establishes a workplace safety programme in the textile and garment industry. 

Fast Retailing announced its support for Pakistan as it becomes amongst the signatories of the International Accord for Health and Safety in the Textile and Garment Industry.

The Accord establishes a new workplace safety program for Pakistan for three years, starting in 2023. 

“Much like the International Accord on which is it based, we believe the Pakistan Accord will also deliver important safety standards to help protect the people who make our clothes,” Yukihiro Nitta, Group Executive Officer responsible for sustainability at Fast Retailing, said. 

“Fast Retailing is pleased to support the Pakistan Accord and to continue making workplaces safer.”
