Lanvin Group appoints new Chairman, CEO

The appointees assumed their role on 7 December.

China-based luxury fashion group Lanvin Group has appointed a new Chairman and CEO after Joann Cheng, the group's founder, stepped down from her dual roles in pursuit of new opportunities.

Accordingly, Huang Zhen has been placed as the new Chairman of Lanvin, and Eric Chan as CEO, effective 7 December.

Since the group’s inception in 2017, Cheng led the company into solid growth, eventually landing in the New York Stock Exchange. It is currently supervising the luxury brands Lanvin, Sergio Rossi, Wolford, St. John Knits, and Caruso.

Under Cheng’s tenure are the successful launch of the first Lanvin Lab collection, the appointment of the new CEO at Sergio Rossi, and the selection of a new creative director at Lanvin.
