TOM FORD names Haider Ackermann as creative director

He will lead the creative direction for all TOM FORD fashion categories.

TOM FORD has appointed Haider Ackermann as its new creative director, effective immediately, the Estée Lauder Companies Inc. announced.

Ackermann will lead the creative direction for all TOM FORD fashion categories, including menswear, womenswear, accessories, and eyewear.

Ackermann, a French national born in Bogotá, Colombia, studied fashion at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp. Renowned for his blend of luxurious fabrics and tailoring, Ackermann’s avant-garde yet wearable designs have gained acclaim amongst celebrities.

Ackermann’s first collection will be unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in March 2025. He will be based in Paris and report to Guillaume Jesel, President and CEO of TOM FORD and Luxury Business Development at The Estée Lauder Companies, and Lelio Gavazza, CEO of TOM FORD FASHION at Ermenegildo Zegna Group.
