In India, nearly half of consumers, or around 50%, actively participate in buying and selling used items.

This is in contrast to the trend in the United Kingdom, where consumers exhibit a stronger inclination towards purchasing secondhand goods (38%) rather than selling them (28%).

Overall, 24% of global consumers buy secondhand products to lead a more sustainable life, whilst 41% choose to repair broken items instead of buying new ones.
