Zalora hires new chief marketing officer
Online fashion retailer Zalora recently announced the appointment of Elias Pour as chief marketing officer. Pour will lead a team of over 150 people, overseeing the full marketing operations of Zalora Group.
Pour joins Zalora from Red Bull where he held the position as head of Digital and was responsible for the brand’s digital marketing, content production and e-commerce sales in Asia-Pacific.
The e-tailer, which has a presence in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Hong Kong and Taiwan, said Pour brings a wealth of knowledge, experience and a successful track record across a wide range of vertical industries and regions.
Early in his career, he worked in Sweden and Denmark and held key management positions for Volvo, Danske Bank and Telenor. Pour has been based in Sydney, Australia in the last eight years, working for renowned brands such as Adobe, Commonwealth Bank of Australia and most recently, Red Bull.
