DFI Retail names new Group chief executive

Scott Price will assume the position on 1 August.

DFI Retail Group announced the appointment of Scott Price as Group chief executive to replace Ian McLeod starting on 1 August 2023.

In a statement, DFI Retail said McLeod, who served as the group chief executive since 2017, will remain with the group until August for the transition of the business to Price.

Price, who has 25 years of international experience across the retail, logistics, and consumer packaged goods sectors, was with UPS prior to joining DFI Retail where he served as chief strategy & transformation officer before becoming the President, International.

He also served as the first CEO, Asia of Walmart before joining UPS and them became EVP, Global Leverage leading global functions across Walmart’s US, International Sam’s Club and e-commerce businesses.

He was also the President & CEO at DHL Express in Europe and was the Asia Pacific CEO prior.
